Andre Mitchell was quick to defend President Obama and Derrick Bell from the emerging story stemming from Breitbart.com's Harvard footage. In the video, a young Barack Obama is seen lavishing praise upon Derrick Bell, known as a campus radical, before a crowd of students.
"This is classic Obama," Mitchell gushed.
Speaking of the context in which Obama is seen:
" … this is not some firebrand radical in the context of the times. He was the head of the law review and speaking out on behalf of a very distinguished professor."
"Distinguished," yes. Distinguished in what Bell believed.
