France Overtly Supports the Muslim (CIA-NATO) Brotherhood

Saman Mohammadi

France has decided to publicly lend its support to the marginal Islamic extremist movement in Syria that has failed to topple the country’s secular regime for the last 20 months.
French President François Hollande is joining Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, whose vocal backing of the Salafist/Wahhabi terrorists in the Free Syrian Army has alienated Turkish citizens.
The French government’s policy of backing Islamist radicals against secular regimes is not new. Iran’s revolutionary Islamic leader Ayatollah Khomeini made France his home during his period in exile. No such figure has emerged in Syria.

The absence of charismatic revolutionary leadership is one of the main reasons why most Syrians are sticking with the current regime. They view Assad as a patriotic anti-imperialist leader whose presence is the only thing that is keeping the country together during this foreign-imposed crisis.
Assad warned of an apocalyptic war in a recent interview with Russia Today if the West invades Syria. On Monday, NATO’s Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen said that NATO will back up Turkey in a war with Syria.
The question on everyone’s mind is why are secular Western governments pro-Islamic extremism? This reality cannot be hidden anymore with cheap magic tricks. The Arab Spring is in fact a NATO-Islamist Spring. Treacherous Muslim clerics are in league with the CIA and MI6. They are calling for the overthrow of Assad but are silent about Netanyahu’s transgressions and crimes.
The West’s cozy relationship with the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt in the post-Mubarak era has harmed Palestinians. Morsi, the new boss, has been far stricter on the underground trade networks between Egypt and Gaza. Many people in the region yearn for the days of Mubarak who at least had the decency to allow the passage of goods in the tunnels that connect Palestinians to the outside world.
Western support for the FSA has also harmed the Palestinian cause. The NATO-backed extremists are seeking to divide Palestinians and trigger a civil war. It is not a stretch to say that Washington’s war against Assad is also, by design, a war against Palestinians.
Assad is the only Arab leader of a strong independent state that has made common cause with Palestinians. From this perspective, his integrity is intact.
Many of the extremists who want to replace Assad have no knowledge that they are being manipulated by NATO. They are beasts of war who are only there to play their part. Their level of education, political awareness, and culture is very low, making them the perfect candidates for Western support.
The Muslim Brotherhood will be the chief benefactor of NATO military action against Syria. In a post-Assad era, Syria will have to dig deep and rally around a real revolutionary figure in order to throw out the treacherous Muslim Brotherhood, foreign invaders, and NATO’s Jihadist terrorists.
