Dear Sirs,
We the people elected you Republicans to be the controlling party of the US House of Representatives last Nov, 2010 to hold the Democrats and Barack Hussein Obama accountable. The Democrat controlled House of 2008 did not vet Mr. Obama. After promising to be “transparent,” Obama was allowed by the Democrat House of 2008 to not be “transparent” about being a “natural born” citizen. The 2008 House did not vet him.
Your most current comments about this are very disturbing. Are you going to vet him? The president of the United States must be a natural born citizen to qualify to be president. The ways to lose natural born citizenship status are detailed in 8 USC 1481. One way is becoming naturalized in another country.
Are you going to inspect his long form birth certificate, his college applications, and his previous passports? Do any of those documents show him to have a dual or foreign citizenship that would have caused him to have lost his natural born status? Almost 2/3 of America think that there is something wrong with his citizenship. So are you going to vet him to put this issue to rest?
You took an oath of office to protect and defend the Constitution of the United States. So are you going to do that concerning the “natural born” status of Barack Hussein Obama (Barry Soetoro)?

Obama has already shown the REAL birth certificate. That is why the US Congress confirmed his election unanimously. UNANIMOUSLY. Not one single member in the 535 (one hundred Senators and 435 Representatives) believed either that Obama was born outside of the USA or that the citizenship of Obama's father affects Obama's Natural Born Citizen status.
The Certification of Live Birth is the OFFICIAL birth certificate of Hawaii. And, it is the only birth certificate that Obama can show because it is the ONLY birth certificate that Hawaii sends out, the only birth certificate that Hawaii sends to anyone since it became the official birth certificate in 2001.
By anyone, that means ANYONE; even people born before 2001 get only the new short-form Certification of Live Birth, which is used by thousands of people every year. And, in Obama's case, the facts on his birth certificate--that he was born in Hawii in 1961--were confirmed twice by the Republican officials and former Republican governor of Hawaii.
Obama's Kenyan grandmother NEVER said that he was born in Kenya. She said repeatedly in the taped interview that he was born in Hawaii, "where his father was studying at the time." And, she said in another interview that the first that her family in Kenya had heard of Obama's birth was in a letter from Hawaii.
