Whether the media and Barack Obama like it or not, Obama is losing and no juiced NBC poll is going to change that. Rasmussen should really change the name of its poll to The Poll The Media Pretends Doesn’t Exist! -- including the exclamation point, because to the media this poll is The Monster That Won’t Go Away!
But it's just a fact that the only
pollster using the tighter and more reliable screen of "likely voters"
is Scott Rasmussen and that Rasmussen is one of the most respected and reliable pollsters out there is not in question:
The Rasmussen Reports daily
Presidential Tracking Poll for Friday shows Mitt Romney attracting 49%
of the vote, while President Obama earns support from 44%.
Right now the media narrative is that
Romney is losing or tied and whichever it is, it means he's failing
because with the economy the way it is, he should be ahead.
Well, when the media works overtime to
cover up all the bad economic news and chooses to focus for weeks on
nonsense like tax returns (another battle ObamaMedia lost) and when Mitt Romney left Bain Capital, that's the only thing keeping Obama politically alive right now.
But in the best poll available, Romney is ahead and this poll doesn't even include today's news that our GDP plummeted to 1.5% this last quarter.
