Report: Petraeus Whisked Mistress To Paris on Taxpayer Dime

CIA Director David Petraeus was apparently very naughty … with taxpayer dollars. According to Buzzfeed, Petraeus whisked his paramour and biographer, Paul Broadwell, off to Paris on the government dime, shortly after he became CIA Director. Petraeus apparently also used his “unofficial press agent, Tom Ricks,” to help Broadwell grab a six-figure advance for her biography of him.

This is the second biographer who has gotten the red carpet treatment from Petraeus; US News and World reporter Linda Robinson joined US Central Command after her biography of him came out.
